May's Complementary Healthcare News & Digest
Launch of Circe Studio, funding for women's health initiatives and the latest research highlights.
Happening at Circe
We just launched Circe Studio’s first product: low-cost website templates to help you build an effective website in no time, with little budget, but resulting in a lot of impact! Our website design templates are specifically designed for holistic healthcare practitioners, therapists and wellness professionals who want to effectively showcase their practice online, but who might not have the time, budget or tech skills to build a website from scratch. These tailored templates are here to help you create a strong online presence that attracts new clients online, supports your marketing efforts and streamlines your administrative load so you can focus on providing quality care in clinic. They come with email support, video tutorials, built-in writing prompts and a workshop on creating compelling content. Starting at just £99 for a limited time, find out more here.
Behind the scenes at building Circe, I was pleased to be interviewed by The Times about my experience building a tech company as a female founder. In today's investment landscape only 2p of every £1 of equity funding in the UK goes to female-founded businesses, which is such a depressing stat. And while getting venture capital investment has become synonymous for success, it's important that we showcase more diverse routes to building successful businesses!
Funding Available for Women’s Health Projects
You might have seen Holland & Barrett’s recent launch of a new women’s health initiative that brings 600 women’s health coaches into their stores. As part of this initiative they’ve also launched The Women's Health Community Fund which is designed to support small, grassroots organisations and community groups to deliver health information and support to women, girls and people from underrepresented groups. This might be something for those of you who are working on projects related to women’s health! Let me know if you decide to apply, and if you need any support writing the funding application.
