Beyond this newsletter and our website design services, at the core of what Circe does is our online booking platform that’s designed to improve access to complementary healthcare through digital innovation.
Since the early days of launching Circe so much has shifted in the wider healthcare space, and specifically when it comes to the growing interest in holistic healthcare, general wellness and longevity medicine. What’s become more and more clear, is that we can’t wait for the NHS to open up its door to an integrative model when there’s such momentum and need right now, today. And I’m on a quest to build Circe’s platform as part of an integrative model that meets today’s human healthcare needs, that connects the dots between silo’d organisations. And, importantly, one in which you, the brilliant practitioners, are supported and recognised for the important work you do. Whether you’re a clinic owner, manager or individual practitioners - I know it can feel like a lonely, uphill battle to try and build a sustainable, fulfilling career that’s financially rewarding too.
So, what I’m interested in is creating a model for integrative healthcare that doesn’t solely rely on Google ads or social media algorithms. Instead, it’s been all about partnerships and building bridges between the different parts of healthcare that are so disconnected. And I’m very excited that we have the green light for our first partnership of that caliber! It’s the first of its kind in the UK, and through this partnership we will be able to connect their customers who are ready to book their complementary health treatments, with you - vetted, qualified practitioners on Circe’s booking platform. I can’t say much more than that at this point, but I promise that you’ll be the very first to hear when we’re able to share more details with the world!

Our next step is to expand our booking platform’s coverage from London to all of the UK, which is no small feat. So today’s newsletter edition includes a call for regional Circe ambassadors who would like to help us scale our network by connecting with practitioners in their local areas across the UK who’d like to join our platform, and also provide feedback and insights that help us shape resources to best support you. This group will be our eyes and ears on the ground and there will be renumeration for your time. What I’m looking for is a diverse group of forward-thinking practitioners who are aligned with our vision to raise the bar for the industry and who are equally passionate about supporting practitioners. We’ve started with acupuncturists, osteopaths, craniosacral therapists, reflexologists and functional medicine doctors, and will be adding nutritional therapists, homeopaths and more modalities as we go. I’d love to invite you to join us, and feel free to share this with any colleagues too!

Lots of new people have joined our network in recent weeks (welcome!), and those of you who’ve followed our journey these last couple of years know that we’ve been working towards our mission for a while - so this partnership signals very promising momentum. There’s been some lessons to learn, some successes to celebrate and we continue on the road of discovery. It hasn’t been fast growth at all cost, and I’m ok with that because getting it right is what matters to me. Community and company building takes time, it’s slow and steady and as a friend recently reminded me: ‘we have forgotten the utter joy of taking something slow’.
